“Our district enjoys netTrekker for the peace of mind it has given our teachers.  Knowing all the sites are 'safe' and pre-screened means teachers can use it with confidence.  It is also a great tool for limiting a search to relevant web sites and saves students a lot of time.”

Linda Fukasawa
Library Media Teacher

April is National Poetry Month. National Poetry Month was established to increase the visibility and appreciation of poetry in our culture. Many schools incorporate National Poetry Month into their curriculum for April. Bring added excitement to your classroom by integrating online poetry resources into your lesson plans.

Both the Elementary and Secondary sections of netTrekker offer a variety of educator-selected online resources on the topic of poetry that can enhance your instruction, including lesson plans and learning exercises, information about individual poets and their works, collections of poems, audio clips of poetry readings and much more. Improving language and literacy skills through the use of poetry is a goal that can be accomplished by all grade levels! Read More...

  • Improved Student Searching
netTrekker has recently changed the way that search results are sorted so that teacher-specific resources will now appear at the end of the list on the search results page. This will make it easier for students to find the most relevant and appropriate results at the top of their search results page. The teacher-specific resources can be easily located by clicking on the yellow Lesson Plans tab.
