Even if you don't live near an art museum, you can enjoy art exhibits and activities through netTrekker. Many art museums both in the United States and around the world have created wonderful (and, not surprisingly, artistic) websites full of images, activities and even lesson plans.

Dr. Doug Hazlett, Associate Professor, Education Department at Thiel College works netTrekker into an assignment with his freshman Foundations of Education class.  “I am pleased to share netTrekker with my students because it will make them better teachers and make learning in their classrooms more standards-based and more fun.”

“My students like using the Refinement Tabs that categorize websites according to what is found at the site. Pictures, learning exercises, or maps/charts are tabs they use often when searching for information. As a teacher, it is so important to be able to use a trusted search engine. Not only am I confident that students will find sites that are age and grade appropriate but netTrekker d.i. provides an added bonus of having websites evaluated by educators.”
